Day 3
Equipment Day
Vein cattle, semen testing, vaccine administration, IV meds, draw blood, lance infections, branding.
Chute operation & chute safety.
Cleaning the chute.
Scale operation.
Implant & preg check.
Sort and work 5 cattle as a team.
How to hold a calf down.
Trip to White Sulfur Springs.

Leadership and Personal Development Training
Visit local embryologist to see embryo process.

You do not have to be a member of Cattleman U Membership to attend camp but members will have first access to tickets during our enrollment period on January 15-19th, 2023. Any tickets left after doors close will go on sale for the general public.

We are excited to implement the application process for 2024! To apply you can hit the apply button above. Once you apply we will review your application and respond within 48 hours. When your application is accepted, you will have 48 hours to secure your spot!

Yes! We are excited to give you the opportunity to practice the skills we talk about directly after going over them. Above we have included a comprehensive list of the things we are planning on going over but if there is something that you want to go over that you don’t see, don’t hesitate to ask!

Nope, we will help you gain the skills of an experienced hand before you leave. This camp is for any women who wants to gain confidence to jump in when working cattle at home. It can be hard to find the time to perfect these skills in the normal hustle and bustle of life which is why we are taking time to go over these skills in a stress free environment.

Yes, we will be organizing pick ups from the airport and have transportation from the lodgings to the facilities throughout the camp.

Of course! We will help you prepare for the day when you do have cattle to work. We do feel like it will be easier to retain the skills if you do use them, but you can get a head start and gain the confidence before you begin working your own herd.

The ticket price is all inclusive once you get to Montana! We will arrange transportation if you fly in and throughout the event. Everything else you will need while in Montana is also covered!

There is no age restriction but if you are under 18 you must be accompanied by a guardian! We believe to get the most out of Ranch Camp you have to be in high school or older. We are offering a discount if you purchase 2 tickets, to learn more you can reach out to us at info@cattlemanu.com!

No, this will be strictly ground work! You don’t need to bring a horse or have cattle handling experience with a horse. We will using equipment and teaching your techniques to use from the ground!
