Schedule
Day 1
Arena Work
The first day, we will all arrive at the Rose Cattle Company Arena and get to know each other! We will dive in immediately with some sorting and moving cattle around obstacles in the arena. We will then work on roping and dragging!
Day 2
Exploring the Backgrounding Lot
When working cattle you will have to navigate corrals and maybe even work in a feedlot yourself! This day will be all about working through gates, alleys and corrals. We will also cover how to identify sick cattle and doctor them!
Day 3
Gathering in Summer Country
We can’t wait for this day, gathering cattle in the beautiful, wide open spaces of summer country! We will be going up to White Sulphur Springs and working cattle out in the pasture. We will be roping in the pasture and doctoring!
Are you a woman involved in agriculture who wants to feel more confident on the ranch and handling cattle?
