What will Alumni Camp look like?
Alumni Camp is exclusively for Ranch Camp alumni. It’s a chance to come back, reconnect, and step into a different kind of experience.
Alumni Camp will include:
Working with Karoline’s yearlings on summer grass: fixing fence, putting out mineral, doctoring, and real day-to-day ranch work
Behind-the-scenes access to The Rancher’s Daughter, Karoline’s farm-to-table store in Kalispell
A deep dive into goal setting and business planning (with time to actually work on your plan)
A Glacier National Park day with some of the most scenic views in the country
An afternoon out on beautiful Flathead Lake
Reconnecting with ladies just like you who get the season you’re in
Daily Agenda
Day One - July 20
Get settled in, meet everyone, and ease into the week. We’ll start with a welcome dinner and some fun connection time, then wrap the night with an escape room.
Day Two - July 21
This is a boots-on day. We’ll spend the day out on Karoline’s lease: putting out mineral, doctoring, and walking fence. We’ll also have time for real conversations and learning around the yearlings and what you’re seeing in the pasture.
Day Three - July 22
We’re heading out for a full-day Glacier adventure. Think big views, fresh air, and a day that feels like a reset. We’ll pack lunches and make stops at Avalanche Lake, Logan Pass, and the Huckleberry Hut.
Day Four - July 23
A mix of learning and Montana fun. We’ll visit Karoline’s farm-to-table store, The Rancher’s Daughter, and the dirty soda shop in the same space, North Fork Fizz. Then spend the afternoon out on Flathead Lake. Be ready for sunshine and a lot of good conversation.
Day Five - July 24
Alumni Camp wraps this day. If you’re staying for the optional add-on day, this is our ranch-to-market day.
Ranch to Market Add-On Day
This optional add-on day is a behind-the-scenes look at the farm-to-table process: processing, cutting, and how decisions made at the plant affect what ends up in your freezer (or your customer’s).
Here’s what it looks like:
Date: Day 5 (the day after Alumni Camp wraps)
Location: Off-site visit (we’ll provide details and timing)
Travel: Plan to depart on Sunday evening or Monday morning
Spots: Limited (first come, first served)
Investment: $500 add-on
You’ll get: A full extra day of hands-on learning and behind-the-scenes access
What we’ll do:
Visit a processor and see the process in action
Watch a cutting demo
Learn how to custom cut beef (what to ask for, how to think about cuts, how it affects your end product)
Q&A with a cutting expert (bring every question you’ve ever had)
Make your own tallow and learn the basics so you can do it again at home
This is a great fit if you want a clearer understanding of how beef moves from ranch to freezer (or ranch to customer), and you want practical knowledge you can use for your own home, your own beef, or your own direct-to-consumer goals.
If you’re not in a season to add an extra day, no pressure at all. Alumni Camp is a full experience on its own. This add-on is simply for those who want to go one step further and see more of the “after” part of the process.
Travel Note
If you’re flying in or out for Alumni Camp, please plan your travel carefully.
Glacier Park International Airport (Kalispell/FCA) has scheduled runway rehabilitation work in July 2026 that will limit flight availability during parts of the week.
During the closure windows, the runway is scheduled to be closed Monday at 6:00 PM through Friday at 10:00 AM, with flights operating mainly Friday through Monday (limited service).
If your preferred travel day falls during those closure hours, we recommend looking at Missoula International Airport (MSO) as a backup option. Missoula is typically a little over two hours from the Kalispell area by car.
