Start to Scale
A small-group business intensive for women who are tired of guessing at what to build, what to charge, and where to focus.
Applying is free and doesn’t lock you into anything.
Get clear on what’s working, what isn’t, and what needs to change.
Start to Scale is a small-group, in-person business intensive led by Karoline Rose Bohannan for women who are serious about building something stronger.
Over a few focused days, you’ll look closely at your business model, offer, pricing, numbers, audience, capacity, and priorities so you can see where the business is strong, where it’s getting in its own way, and what deserves your attention most.
Karoline actively runs multiple businesses herself, so the work comes from real experience. She makes these same kinds of decisions every day: what to sell, what to charge, where to invest, what to stop doing, and how to grow without creating more problems in the process.
She’s the founder of Cattleman U, She’s a Hand Ranch Camp, and KRose Company, and also owns The Rancher’s Daughter and North Fork Fizz. That operating experience is what shapes the work you’ll do at Start to Scale.
Applying is free and doesn’t lock you into anything.
Coming to Nashville | November 7-10
Applications are open. Start to Scale is intentionally limited to 10 women so every attendee has time for individual feedback, meaningful conversation, and focused work on her own business.
You don’t need to keep figuring this out alone.
When you’re deep in the day-to-day of your business, it can be hard to see what actually needs your attention.
Maybe you’re:
Putting a lot of time into the business without seeing enough return
Unsure whether your pricing still makes sense
Trying to choose between several offers, opportunities, or directions
Spending money in places that aren’t helping the business improve
Carrying more priorities than you realistically have capacity for
Knowing something needs to change but not being sure where to start
Start to Scale gives you space to step outside the daily demands of the business, look at it more objectively, and determine where your time, money, and energy will matter most.
What stood out most was the power of listening to and learning from other women who are walking this same path. Their stories, challenges, and successes offered insights I didn’t even know I needed, and reminded me that the ranching journey is richer when it’s shared…
It was not just educational—it was uplifting, empowering, and genuinely life-changing. I’m deeply grateful for this experience and the incredible women who made it unforgettable.

The women in the room
The women at Start to Scale won’t all run the same kind of business or be at the same stage.
Some may be turning an idea into something real. Others may already have customers and revenue but know something in the business needs to change.
They may be working through questions like:
Is this idea worth pursuing?
Does my pricing make sense?
Why am I putting in so much work without seeing enough return?
Which opportunity should I focus on?
What needs to improve before I grow?
How do I build this without letting it take over my life?
Start to Scale is a women-only experience, intentionally limited to 10 women so there’s room for honest conversation and direct feedback.
Applying is free and doesn’t lock you into anything.
What You’ll Work Through
Your Business Model
Get specific about what you sell, who it’s for, how the business makes money, and whether the way you’ve structured it supports what you’re trying to build.
What Isn’t Pulling Its Weight
Identify the offers, expenses, responsibilities, or habits that are taking more than they’re giving back.
Your Financial Picture
Work through pricing, revenue, expenses, cash flow, owner pay, and what the business actually needs to earn.
Your 90-Day Focus
Decide what matters most when you get home, what can wait, and what you can stop doing altogether.
What People Are Saying
Start to Scale is for you if:
You have a business or a specific idea you’re serious about pursuing
You’re putting in a lot of effort but aren’t satisfied with what the business is giving back
You’re unsure whether your offer, pricing, or business model still makes sense
You have more opportunities than you have time and need to narrow your focus
You’re willing to look honestly at your numbers and what isn’t working
You’re ready to make changes, not just collect more ideas
This probably isn’t for you if:
You want someone else to choose your business idea or make every decision for you
You aren’t willing to examine your pricing, finances, capacity, or current approach
You’re looking for a conference where you can sit back and listen without working on your own business
Picture yourself in Nashville
Start to Scale will be hosted in a private home in Nashville, giving the group space to step away from the normal demands of work and home and focus fully on the business for a few days.
With no more than 10 women, this won’t feel like sitting in the back of a conference room taking notes. You’ll spend the time working on your own business, asking questions, getting direct feedback, and learning from what the other women in the room are working through too.
If you choose to stay on-site, those conversations don’t have to end when the work sessions do. There’s room for the kind of informal evening conversations that often lead to some of the best ideas, questions, and connections of the whole experience.

Stay where the work happens!
Start to Scale will be hosted in a beautiful private home, giving the weekend a more personal, focused feel than a traditional conference room.
